Gayquation may use assessment responses, profile information, matchmaking activity, feedback, preferences, communications, and other information to generate compatibility assessments, scores, recommendations, insights, summaries, Photo Grades, Matchmaker Insights, and related inferences designed to assist our matchmaking team and improve your experience.

Certain Gayquation tools may use automated or AI-assisted processing to help organize, summarize, analyze, or surface information. These tools are intended to support Gayquation services and the judgment of our matchmaking team. Matchmaking & Information Shared With Prospective Matches

Providing matchmaking services necessarily involves sharing selected information with people we believe may be potential matches. Gayquation may disclose limited profile, biographical, preference, compatibility, photograph, or other relevant information to prospective matches when reasonably necessary to evaluate or facilitate an introduction.

Gayquation does not necessarily disclose all information contained in your account, assessment, internal notes, or communications. Information intended for internal review or marked as private is not automatically shared with a prospective match. The information shared may vary based on the service, stage of the matchmaking process, member preferences, safety considerations, and the circumstances of the potential introduction.

Matchmaker Communications, Feedback & Momentum Debriefs

We may collect and store communications with Gayquation personnel, feedback about prospective matches or dates, Momentum Debriefs, private notes you submit through the portal, matchmaker responses, and related service records. This information may be used to improve future recommendations, identify patterns, document service activity, respond to concerns, and support the matchmaking process.

Information you submit for your matchmaker or for internal Gayquation use is not automatically disclosed to the person you are discussing unless disclosure is necessary for the service, authorized by you, or otherwise permitted by this Policy or applicable law.

TrustShield™ Verification & Safety Information

As part of TrustShield™ Basic, ID, Gold, or other identity, screening, safety, or fraud-prevention processes, Gayquation may request a valid mobile phone number and may collect or receive verification-related information from you or from service providers assisting us.

A verification phone number may be used to send one-time verification codes, support account recovery or re-verification, maintain account security, and help prevent fraud or abuse. Verification information is not used for unrelated promotional messaging unless you have separately provided consent or another lawful basis applies.

Gayquation may use third-party vendors to deliver verification messages, perform identity or background-related services, or support security. Those providers may process information only as necessary to perform services for Gayquation subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

Information About Prospective Matches & Other Individuals

Gayquation may receive information about individuals who are not yet members when conducting outreach, headhunting, referrals, screening, or other matchmaking activity. This information may come from referrals, existing members, prospective matches, publicly available sources, social or professional profiles, or other legitimate sources. We use this information only for reasonable matchmaking, outreach, safety, verification, and related business purposes.

Service Providers & Other Disclosures

Gayquation may engage trusted companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf, including website and cloud hosting, communications, identity verification, security, analytics, customer support, payment processing, marketing support, email delivery, data processing, and other operational functions. These providers may access personal information only as reasonably necessary to perform their services and are expected to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our agreements; to protect the rights, safety, or property of Gayquation, our users, prospective matches, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Online Transactions & Stripe

Credit card transactions are processed securely by Stripe. Payment information submitted for a transaction is transmitted using encrypted connections. Gayquation generally does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers when payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe. Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.

Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies

Gayquation uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, understand website usage, improve performance, measure marketing effectiveness, prevent fraud, and support analytics and advertising activities. We may use third-party analytics and advertising services, including services provided by Google, Microsoft, StatCounter, and similar providers.

These providers may receive information such as cookie or device identifiers, IP address, browser information, pages viewed, referral information, and interaction data, subject to their own policies and applicable law. Depending on your jurisdiction, certain uses of analytics or advertising technologies may be considered targeted advertising, sharing, or similar regulated activity, and applicable opt-out rights may be available.

You may disable or limit cookies through your browser or device settings, although doing so may affect certain website, member, portal, or logged-in functionality.

Aggregated & De-Identified Information

We may create or use aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you. We may use this information to understand service usage, improve Gayquation, perform research and analytics, develop features, measure business performance, and share general trends or statistics with partners or service providers.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain account and matchmaking records, meet contractual commitments, support safety and fraud-prevention efforts, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and pursue legitimate business purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the services involved, the sensitivity of the information, and applicable legal requirements.

We do not intend to retain sensitive matchmaking information indefinitely when it is no longer reasonably necessary for a legitimate service, legal, safety, or business purpose.

Your Choices & Privacy Rights

You may update certain account or profile information by logging into your account or by contacting Gayquation. You may also unsubscribe from or opt out of certain marketing communications using the instructions included in those communications or by contacting us.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a copy or portability of certain information, withdrawal of certain consents, limitation of certain processing, or an opt-out from certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities. Where applicable, you may also have the right to appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request, and certain information may be retained where permitted or required by law. To submit a privacy request, contact us at support@gayquation.com.

Security

Gayquation uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and should notify Gayquation if you believe your account or personal information has been compromised.

International Users & Data Processing

Gayquation serves users in multiple countries. Personal information may be processed or stored in the United States or in other countries where Gayquation or its service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, Gayquation will use appropriate measures for international processing or transfers of personal information.

Adults Only

Gayquation's matchmaking services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly provide matchmaking services to minors or knowingly collect personal information from children for that purpose. If we learn that information has been collected from a minor in circumstances where it should not have been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise address it.

Privacy Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Gayquation services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements. When changes are made, we will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the effective date. Where required by law, we may provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
